She was a girl who have grown up into this conservative culture, an environment whereas women where taught to be covered up and to be silent. Almost appealing to toehr people as suppressing. Though Aisha didn't thought of it that way, she just thought that people back in her hometown just... lacked the capacity to think openly.
Thus, you could see her amazement as she stepped at the Zoo. Not that there wasn't any zoo where she came from, she's just been too... busy to go to those kinds of places, not to mention her parents's day jobs too.
Couldn't keep the excited smile of her face, she decided to bit her lip to keep herself from looking like an overzealous idiot, and to keep a squeel from erupting. Somehow having to contain herself, she then walked over to the latest attraction, the Lion.

The sun was shining brightly, despite the fact that a few heavy-looking clouds hovered close-by, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to choke the golden orb and release showers over the area. Though she would have enjoyed such a thing, Dawn was too busy being annoyed by a group of loud, eleven year old punks who appeared to be going the same place she was: The lion.
Whatever it was about the creature, it's kingly mane, power-house bodice or majestic way of walking, the lion was by-far Dawn's favorite animal.
The straw-haired female had just received her schedule for her new school, and realizing she had gotten into drawing, decided that she had better go out and figure out how to draw as to not look like a complete idiot the first day of class. And what better object to learn how to draw than her favorite beast?
They were but a few feet away from the den. Someone was already standing there, but Dawn didn't mind, as she was too busy minding the half-grown idiots behind her. The rowdy boys were now deep into some aggressive argument. Something about stepping on the back of another's shoe? Dawn, disgusted by the immaturity and lacking the patience to do anything else, walked right by them.
The loudest one began squealing, and the dark blonde turned around just in time to see him duck before some dark object, was that a hacky sack? could beam him in the face. However, his young friend was a terrible aim, and the bag ended up going more toward Dawn's direction and height. So she too, ducked, then realized it was now on a course for the dark-haired girl already looking at the exhibit.
"Heads up!" Dawn shouted frantically.

Aisha thought she heard someone calling out, having sensed that there's not anybody else around that was in that particular space... she was probably calling out in such an urgent tone to her!
She turned around then saw... 'what in God's name is that?!' she couldn't figure out exactly, but her instincts reigned and took over as she then ducked it meanwhile having a confused yet shocked expression on her face.
A few seconds after that, she heard the thing hit something... hard. She turned around and saw that it happened to hit the lion... and dang, he ain't happy about it. The lion letting out a roar as it felt a something he also couldn't identify hit him with such force that could match his loud roar.
Aisha winced, "ooh.." she let out as she slightly step away from the animal.

At the mighty beast's angry roar, the obnoxious tweens cursed loudly and exaggeratedly. Dawn too, mildly cursed under her breath, though hers was in amazement. She didn't turn, but Dawn heard them the loud patter of their heavy feet as they fled the scene. "Good riddance!" she silently and bitterly said in her head, though her face still held a simple child's grin.
Without even realizing it, the female began to walk closer to the caged animal. Her emerald optics simply soaked in all the details they could, taking in more as fast as the previous images could be stored in her brain. Every curve of strong muscles bulging from under his coat, the way every single tawny hair lay on his hide, the placement of the gleam on each individual tooth, it took Dawn's breath away.
She didn't bother taking out her pencil, she knew she wouldn't be fast enough to capture the sight on paper. Instead, she focused on etching it permanently in her mind's eye. Dawn could draw it later if it was already saved and memorized in her head. Then the only thing in her way would be getting her hands and thoughts to cooperate.
Now she was at the protective red railing that came out about two feet in front of the actual cage. Dreamily, Dawn gripped the bar and sighed.
"Isn't it awesome?" the blonde asked the girl who had dodged just in time to miss the flying object, who was now slightly behind her. Dawn didn't turn to face her as she spoke, rather she kept her olive lamps locked on the upset animal. She figured the girl would realize she was being spoken to, though. It was alright.

Aisha, looked at the golden haired girl with a look on her face. Her eyebrow slightly much more higher than the other. "Yeeaah..." she let out slowly, the look on her face never changing. 'It's as awesome as watching a deer getting eaten by a tiger' she thought as she again winced as she looked at the lion. The beast, in her mind, seemed like wanted to claw her, gauge her eyes out and eat her as if she was the one who did any harm to him. And never until that moment had Aisha felt more vengeful towards any animal, maybe it was simply because of her growing fear of the said mammal or was it because in the first time she had visited it's den, it had suddenly turned against her.
As if hearing her vengeful thoughts, the lion again elicited a loud roar. Meanwhile, Aisha, trying to get her thoughts of the fierce--not to mention scary animal--she turned to look at the young woman whose attention seemed so divert at the beast. She may have contemplated the lion as a beast, but she figured she may as well have some respect for anyone who would think that even as if those things were ferocious... they would still be amused by them, 'and not fear them.' a voice inside Aisha's mind piped up.
"Hey you kids!" she craned her neck to an angry voice, seeing it belonged to a chubby uniformed man with... an irritated expression on his face? 'Uh-oh.' she thought, a bad vibe she's feeling. She then took the girl by the elbow and said, in a hurried yet sheepish manner, "Yeah that's very awesome but I think our butts is on the line.." then looked back again at the angry guard.

It wasn't until the other girl grabbed her that Dawn was brought back to earth. She quickly whirled around, eyes wide and heart skipping beats. A rather fat man dressed in the typical zoo-keeper uniform was walking toward them. He wasn't large enough to be waddling, but Dawn decided to put the image in her head anyway, and mused that he was an upset penguin.
Penguin. . . that gave her an idea.
Rather than deal with the upset guard or manager or whoever he was, why not run for it? Usually Dawn would never even think of doing such a thing, but the lion's strength seemed to have flowed into the teen's own being, and she took courage from the thought.
The femme had picked up a map upon arriving ( that's how she knew where to find the lion ) and knew for a fact that the penguin exhibit was way on the other end of the enormous zoo. It was also not that far from the entrance / exit. If worst came to worst and the over-weight male somehow managed to catch up with the two, lithe and active teenagers, they could always leave the park completely.
Grabbing the hand of the dark headed dame, Dawn shouted, "Run for it!" and yanked, starting to sprint.

Aisha fretted, looking back and forth between the big guard who seems red on the face and the ferocious lion who seems like it wants to eat her alive. The guard must've been saying something, she squinted to look at him, his mouth uttering words that seem to make an innocent's ears bleed and also at the same time would want to make a sailor blush. Yet, she couldn't seem to decipher it.
She's really nervous, her heart beats pounding real fast. She may not make it. She's never been in this kind of situations. 'No, I did nothing wrong.. Aisha Taylor's a good girl,' the voice in her head thought. Looking back at this, years from now, she figured, she'd be laughing at herself for referring to her own in third person. Though, there's one thing she couldn't deny. That is the rush of adrenaline and the excitement she was feeling all the time she was getting into this trouble.
But before she could indulge in this new found experience, her arm was practically pulled off it's sockets as she struggled to follow up with the 'golden girl'--Aisha dubbed her. After a while of struggling to follow up, she then managed to catch up with said girl and, panting, asked "Do you have any idea where we're going?"

"Penguins, dear," Dawn replied, her full smile a shining white crescent in the peach sky of her face. Perhaps the color the early morning clouds dabbled in, as the sun was just beginning to blush over the horizon. The moon at dawn.
After traveling but a short ways, her lungs were on fire. However, the thrill of being hunted was enough to allow the crazed fatale to dig a little deeper for the strength to go on at full blast. She pictured herself and the other girl fugitives, fleeing from their country's crooked arm of the law, which brought more chaos than it solved and was only opposed by the bravest of souls. If they stopped, certainly they found be found, caught, and promptly executed without mercy.
About three fourths of the way to their destination, Dawn was truly exhausted. Panting heavily as beads of sweat flung themselves from the heat of her brow, the female began to slow gradually to a jog, a walk, and finally was standing still.
How her calves burned! Bending over with her hands on her knees, the teenager took much needed sweet breaths of cool wind. She looked up, but didn't see any trace of the uniformed male. As the cool air filled her lungs, common sense and her circumstance began to fill Dawn's brain.
What had she done? Both of them were innocent, why had she panicked and ran? Not only that, but she had dragged some stranger into this fine mess with her. The blonde half-hearted pounded her thigh with a clenched fist as she swore lightly under her breath.
"I, wow, I am so sorry about that," Dawn began honestly.
"I truly have no even figment of an idea what got into my head," here the dark blonde chuckled nervously.
Running the back of her hand across the dampness of forehead, wiping away the condensation, Dawn couldn't help but ask,
"Do you think we lost him?"
