First and last names: Dawn Scherer
Nicknames: None
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Height: 5 feet, 8 inches
Hair color: Dark blonde
Eye color: Olive green
Personality: Dawn isn't very out-going. Sadly, her lack of a social life doesn't mean she's smart either. She struggles both with people and homework, and since her grades get sent back home to her parents, she chooses to focus on the later. If she were to be described in one word, Dawn would definitely be Dreamer. Because her favorite things in the world are sleeping and sitting on park benchs alone, either writing or thinking.
Past: Dawn grew up as an only child because she was a mistake. Her parents had never planned on staying together for very long, but when they found out they were going to have a child, they decided it would be best for the baby if they did settle down and get married.
That didn't mean they all of a sudden magically liked each other though. The grounds for the relationship were very shaky, and it had really been more of a causal dating thing than courtship.
For that reason, neither of her parents liked her very much, and when she turned 12 they sent her away to a boarding school far away. Dawn has attended three schools now, and is definitely past the luster and brilliance of living away from home, having space to be her own person, all that garbage parents tell their kids.
Pets: She used to have a black lab, Travis. He died.

Sample post: Haha, I just got a new aquarium, so I've been thinking about what it would be like for people to live inside of a fish bowl in a world covered in water, in case your confused by the "hanging out by the glass" and "wishing on passing fish" comments I'm about to make.
It had been a good day so far for young Kiarre. The previous night, her mother had allowed her to stay with her best friend Marie from the rest of the evening until next. The five-year-old shouldn't have been that surprised, as her busy mother never had time for her nor cared where she was had granted permission to keep her out of her hair while being able to sleep knowing that she was in the care of another. Not that she didn't sleep otherwise. Having four jobs, an absent minded husband, seven children and the government on her back meant the over-worked woman could sleep anywhere, standing up.
So herself and Marie, whom the child had affectionately nick-named "'Ree", had spent the night climbing trees, telling stories, and making wishes on the fish that passed by. They were some of the few people who enjoyed hanging near the glass, so they had the area to themselves, where they could yell and skip and laugh freely, without the burden of anything else. Yes, it had been a good night.
And now it was going to be a good day. Kiarre only came up to Marie's thigh, and when she held hands with the older girl the blood didn't seem to be able to stay in her arm, which she had to hold high above her head to hang on. The two had just woken up, though it wasn't morning for anyone else, and were on their 'wake-up walk.' Today they were going through the park.
Kiarre was still kind of sleepy as she trudged along, dragging her muddy shoes. Someone walked in front of her, and the dark shadow passing over the girl's face made her look up. When she looked up, she saw an elderly man across the path from her. He wasn't really that old; mid-forties, early fifties perhaps? but his scalp was covered with brilliant silver hair. Still half-dreaming, Kiarre shouted in delight,
"Grandpa!" as loud as her little lungs could. Breaking away from Marie's grasp, she ran to him, long white-blonde hair billowing out like a cape behind her.
When she reached the sir, she grabbed his leg and smiled her five-year-old tootless smile into it.
"Grandpa," the girl said again, hugging him tighter. "I've missed you so much! How have you been?"
